A course in Mindfulness – The Soulhouse Method
7 Core subjects
1. Present moment training
Being present fully in the moment, developing the ability to neutrally observe ones thoughts and emotions. Developing the ability to choose consciously ones state of being, which thoughts and impulses to act upon, which to release. Creating space and consciousness between feeling, thought, and action.
2. Body Awareness
Feeling whole, feeling the body, developing a close relationship with the body’s communication and intelligence. Introduction to feeling your inner compass. Understanding how to be grounded.
3. Personal Space
Claiming, discovering and creating a sense of personal space, and the ability to maintain healthy boundaries in all situations. Learning to perceive what factors influence and affect your personal space, learning creative tools to make conscious choices.
Presence training, breathing, being grounded, connection, self esteem, building the practice of being truly present mentally, emotionally, and physiologically.
5. Communication and Self Expression
Mindful communication, claiming personal space, giving others space. Respect and self respect, communicating with emotional integrity. Emotional integrity, empathy and Compassion, a state from which to communicate, a way of life.
6. Creative Energy, Collaboration and Envisioning Power
Claiming the imagination space, the ability to consciously visualise with purpose. Envisioning and envisioning together, aligning energy and intention with mind and body.
7. Connection and Inner Compass
Building a strong sense of your inner voice, your body, your energy, and your mind. Connection with your own inner compass which helps you to navigate, situations and life in general
The Soulhouse curriculum can be taught in many ways.
One of the models of delivery is the following structure of 7 x 2 hour workshops. I offer this anywhere in the world, for your organisation, your school, your team, your family. I teach live – in person, or online. The ideal amount of time I suggest is over the course of seven months – one workshop per month, supported by live mediation either in person or online once weekly. This gives your mind and body time to create deep shifts which are allowed time to properly integrate into your life, your mind, your habits, your energy patterns. I always suggest daily practice of 10-40 minutes depending on how much time you have. When you sign up for Soulhouse training you automatically gain access to our library of recorded practices.
The course can be condensed, divided or structured specifically according to your needs and your timeframe.
